Super Mario music played with two hands and no instruments

Overground, underground, underwater, bonus stage - It's all there. Played with merely a man and no musical instruments, the fart-like noises are generated with only his hands. Surely the best party trick ever! I too can make farty noises with my hand but being able play music is incredibly impressive and way beyond my skill level. I wonder if he teaches this skill or is it a closely guarded secret...

Play the whole video and I'm sure you'll be amused, amazed, or like me, both.

Now I'm not a skateboarder but this is pretty frickin' awesome nonetheless

Generally I not a lover of skate videos. Possibly because they always include a move where the boarder (?) has a bad time and I wince as a result... some kind of sympathy pain. Especially "gettin' nutted" (I think that's a term...)

This guy is frickin' awesome displaying some pretty crazy stunts for us all to marvel at. I think my friend who sent me link described it as "pushing creative boundaries". and I agree he's certainly doing that

Neat vid - Enjoy

Site Down Time - Past and future

Past

As some of you (well one of you) noticed, the site was inaccessible over the weekend. Unfortunately I was away from my computer at a stag do in the country, so I was unable to resolve the situation. My sincere apologies. How any of you went for a couple of days without this wonderful site I'll never know - Hard times indeed :P I still don't know why it went down but the server engineer for this server but he was also in the country! When we got back (15:00) he restarted the web server and all seems well.

Wii View Game DB V1.0 Starts to roll in

I've started implementing an initial version of the Game DB. I Will be posting some documentation soon for those interested. The functionality will allow news, reviews, prices, and links to be attached to games.

Virtual Console Releases (Europe) - 2 NeoGeo - 0 WiiWare

Not a particularly impressive week (once again). OK they're not terrible games but only two? Neither are to my taste again. I do wish Nintendo would pick up the pace with their downloadable releases. Well anyway... That's enough moaning. I'm sure I can find better ways to spend my time. Building this site is better use of my time than spending an hour criticising the big N. Plus, I can't stay mad at them. So I leave on that heart-warming note and go off to construct the all important Wii-View UK Game DB.

Mega Man 9 now multiplatform (again) - Back to WiiWare / PSN / XBL platforms

OK. This is the last time I report on Mega Man 9. If another story comes out saying you can now only play it on your I-phone, I'm not covering it. You have to love the ol' rumour mill. Well...to be honest, I'm kind of glad I followed this up because there is a quality video to show you guys of everyone's favourite blue superhero and his robot dog. What's that? Your favourite blue superhero is Superman? Well it could be Captain America for all I care. Do either of those have a 9 game series to their name? No. I rest my case :)

The measuring stick has to be XBMC

I've used Xbox Media Centre (XBMC) before and it's a pretty wonderful Media Centre Client. It's very easy to set up and use. It has plenty of nice little features.

You can:
stream archived (e.g. *.rar) content
stream shoutcast stations
view news feeds
mount DVD ISOs (e.g. *.bin *.cue)
to name a few
