Are the drums faulty or not? They say they have a handle on it but I guess the European release will be the test of their statements. Words are cheap but Guitar Hero & Rock Band Bundles are not.

Now we get this reassurance
"We believe that these controllers are limited to ones in the earlier manufacturing stages,"

along with

"While we believe that this was an isolated manufacturing issue, we are stepping our efforts to randomly test our drum kit controllers so customers can be assured they work properly."

Perhaps the Emperor has commanded them to double their efforts...

Reports in the US of faulty drums nearly changed which band bundle I was lookin' at. I haven't looked deeply into this but I will have to make a decision on my instruments soon.
